About Frank Basile

Frank has been in the industry for over 30 years, starting as an apprentice in 1976 in a barbershop at Floreat Forum. In 1985 Frank took over the barber shop and continued to build a flourishing business. 2001 saw Frank move the barber shop to new premises on Birkdale Street, Floreat. This move gave Frank the opportunity to expand into ladies hairdressing.

He purchased Ganesha Hair Options in 2003 and started with 2 staff members and before long had built up his clientele and required larger premises. This saw another move to a larger shop 2 doors up and the two businesses were combined to create the new “Frank Basile for hair”.

This unique business now offers the best of both worlds, a unisex salon and a traditional mens' barber shop in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With a team of talented and creative staff members you will be sure to get the best service.

The growth of our salons around Perth has been amazing and our team of stylists have become "one" big happy supportive family.

With training one night a week together for 10 months of the year soaking up the experience that they all have been so eager to share.

Training consists of consultations, colouring, cutting, blow-waving, hair-ups, colour correction, perming, hair extensions, chemical straightening which all staff are required to attend. We also have L'Orèal colour technicians come to show the latest colours and products that have been launched. Joico technicians also train our staff spreading both product knowledge and plenty of fudge colouring!

We all attend hair shows throughout the year and have had staff working behind the scenes wanting to broaden their knowledge and experience in all aspects of hair design. The staff of f b are training to create for you:
